Cramlington and Killingworth
Emma is proud to be from the Cramlington and Killingworth constituency. It is where she grew up, where her family has lived for generations, and she considers it a tremendous privilege to now represent these communities in Parliament.
Growing up, Emma’s father worked for the NHS, while her mother worked in factories and pubs to put herself through night school before going on to work at Northern Rock. They instilled in Emma the values of hard work, compassion, and a strong commitment to giving back to the community.
After university, Emma worked as a 999 call taker for the ambulance service. She now continues to serve locally as a volunteer NHS First Responder.
