About Lemington
Lemington grew during the Industrial Revolution through coal mining, ironworks, and glassmaking along the River Tyne. Today, the Lemington ward includes Bells Close, Blucher Village, Dumpling Hall, Lemington Rise, Lemington, Scholars Wynd, South West Denton, West Denton Hall, and West Denton Park, blending industrial heritage with modern residential communities.
