The Benwell and Scotswood Labour team were delighted to attend the fantastic Platinum Jubilee celebration at the Pendower Good Neighbour Project, where they joined local residents for a day of community spirit, entertainment and celebration.
With beautiful sunshine throughout the day, the event brought together people of all ages to mark Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. It was wonderful to see so many local residents enjoying the festivities and celebrating alongside friends, neighbours and community organisations.
The Pendower Good Neighbour Project once again showcased its vital role at the heart of the community, organising a memorable event that highlighted the strong sense of togetherness that makes Benwell and Scotswood such a special place.
