Following on from the two brilliant and productive community ward meetings we held last year, this ward drop-in event felt like a celebration.
It showcased the work that is going on in the council and the community, and invited questions and requests from local people.
Residents came with their problems, issues and ideas for us to work on and with their thanks for the things we have done.
There was a lovely atmosphere and lots of great networking.
Children and adults alike enjoyed painting kindness rocks on the children’s craft stall which we’ll be placing in the planters around Heaton so they can be enjoyed by everyone.
