The Labour Government is investing £121.8 million to transform Forth Yards.
This riverside site has stood empty for decades. Now it will become a vibrant new neighbourhood with up to 2,500 homes, new jobs, green spaces and shops right on the edge of our city centre.
Cllr Karen Kilgour, Leader of Newcastle City Council, said:
