Mary Glindon MP joined in the celebrations for the completion of the new homes on the Byker Community Trust estate in Newcastle.
The development consists of a mix of 12 one and two-bed level-access bungalows, eight two-bedroom houses and four two-bedroom Tyneside flats, all available for social rent.
All the homes are powered by air source heat pumps and fitted with solar panels and are the first new homes to be built on the estate in 43 years.
