Joanne has been a councillor in this area since 2004 firstly in Westgate ward then for Arthur’s Hill following boundary changes in 2018 when she was elected to represent both the Labour Party and the Co-Operative Party. She has worked closely with local residents, council officers, police and other stakeholders to try and improve the quality of life for local people. She has also been a trustee on the Nunsmoor Centre Trust and she chairs the Corporate Parent Advisory Committee of the council so supporting and ensuring the best provision for some of our most vulnerable children and young people.
Joanne says: “It has been a privilege to be your local councillor and I hope you will continue to support me at the elections in May so that I can work alongside Hannah and Hayder to advocate for residents in Arthur’s Hill.”
