This morning Councillor Stephen Barry-Stanners and Councillor Barry Phillipson attended the Lemington Methodist Church clothes bar and met with Jona Sewell (Chair of Newcastle Methodist District) and Matt Forsyth (Vice President of the UK Methodist Conference). It was great to chat about the importance of local churches in communities and to promote some of our joint work happening in the area.
The Clothes Bar in Lemington provides free children’s clothing (0-12 years) and is open every Tuesday morning 9.30 until 11.30 during school term times. Free hot drinks and toast are also provided. They also welcome any donations of good quality, clean clothing.
